Luna the Shiba Inu

June 19, 2008

Hey there!

We wanted to say ‘thank you’ once again for taking such good care of Luna for us while we’re away. We used to board her at her Vet’s office until I happened to find you guys on the web. We live in High Point and were initially concerned about the relatively long drive to your location, but your very reasonable rates and the services you provided, without add-on costs, made it worth a try.

Let me tell you, I’m glad we didn’t let the distance stop us from bringing Luna to Country Kennel! I could tell from the moment we drove up that this was the best place for her. I was even happier when we arrived to pick her up. She was clean, happy and showed no signs of distress. If we could take her with us everywhere we went, we probably would. But, since we’ve found you guys, we realize that we all need a vacation - and that’s exactly what Luna gets when we leave her at Country Kennel. Plus, we can vacation guilt-free too! The ride may be a little long, but it’s worth every single minute for the peace of mind we get knowing that she’s in the best possible care while we’re away.

So, thank you, thank you, thank you! You guys rock!

Sincerely,

Doris, Wil, Eiahn & Luna

The Fryxells

Country Kennel is the ONLY place that we would leave our dogs, Bunny, Punkin' and Bzzbee. We checked out several other places and none of them even come close to the quality care standards that Country Kennel maintains. The kennel is modern and soooo clean. The staff is friendly, enthusiastic, and attentive to each dogs’ needs. They are totally there for dog care and not trying to sell you stuff like an extra charge for the dogs to play. Our dogs are happy to go there because they get treated so well. We have total confidence and trust in Country Kennel.

Thank you Martha, Chuck, and your Staff.

P is for Porter

Hi! My name is Porter, and I am a miniature goldendoodle. I am 1 ½ years old and I love to run around, play fetch, and snuggle. I have been going to visit Martha and Chuck at Country Kennel since I was just a tiny puppy. My owners had to go out of town when I was just 5 months old. I was so little and only weighed about 9 pounds. My “Mommy” was so worried about having to leave me with anyone. The minute she met Martha and Chuck, she knew she had found me a home away from home. Martha and Chuck have treated me like one of their own and my owners have been overwhelmed by the care and love that I receive when I am visiting. That is why they will ONLY let me board at Country Kennel. They say that Martha and Chuck are like family. I think that is why ‘Mommy” always says that we are going to visit Aunt Martha and Uncle Chuck. I get so excited when I see the kennel! “Mommy” can’t seem to drive fast enough to get me there. I jump out of the car right away and run to the front door. I can’t even wait to get a leash on! Martha is always waiting with a smile and a huge hug for me. I love playing with all my friends at the kennel and it has been great for my socialization skills. I am always happy to see my owners when they come for me, but I really do miss my second family at Country Kennel. It truly is like my home away from home.

Our friends - Chelsea and Callie

Chelsea will be 15 on June 24. This photo was taken at her 14th birthday party. She has had a full and eventful life on the farm. Callie (in the window) was adopted from Adopt A Spot Dalmatian Rescue in October 2006. They found her in an animal shelter in Jacksonville, NC. Whereas Chelsea viewed her job as that of a hunter, going after anything and everything (especially groundhogs), Callie is more of a diva. She enjoys modelling her Coach collar, and she likes to visit wineries.

Mi Amiga - Inu

This is Inu. She is a husky mix, and she's bilingual. Her family used to live in Mexico. When she's at the kennel, we practice our Spanish with her. She loves to hear that she is "muy bonita"!!

Dog of the Month - Mojo

Hi my name is Mojo Scully and I am almost 2 years old. I love to go to Country Kennel because I get to play with all of these other dogs and I always love when Chuck plays fetch with me because he was the one who taught me how to play. When I am there I don’t have to worry about having to wait to go to the bush because I am always outside playing. Whenever I go there, when we get close my mommy always asks “ Mojo do you want to go see Martha and Chuck?” and I always answer with a fast body and tail wagging. (Have I mentioned how much I love Country Kennel? I think I need to emphasize it a little more….. I LOVE COUNTRY KENNEL! I think that’s better.) Whenever you go to Country Kennel give me a holler because I am always up for a new fetch partner. (And new friends who love to play around.)

P.S. I LOVE COUNTRY KENNEL!!!
P.S.S. If you haven’t seen the new renovations you need to because it is like a five star hotel!!!!!!!!

Dogs of the Month - Justin & Molly

I have been enjoying the peace of mind of having my two "children" being taken care of at the country kennel for the last several years!

I travel a lot, for work and for pleasure, and can do so without worry or hesitation. My "babies" come back to me happy and energized. They LOVE to socialize with the other playmates. It is their vacation place!

Thank YOU Country Kennel for everything you do!
